I own MrSippy BBQ in Rochester, with a seating capacity of 58 seats, catering, and a food trailer. We’re critically acclaimed, and we’re barely breaking even. That’s not a complaint; that’s the New Hampshire small business economy in one sentence.

Before the restaurant, I studied to teach. I student-taught at Coe-Brown. Starting pay was in the low thirties, and I couldn’t make the math work. So I went in a different direction. But I’ve never stopped thinking about that math, because it still isn’t working, not for teachers, and not for anyone else trying to get by in this state.

My kitchen manager’s husband just got let go from his catering job because there weren’t enough weddings this year. I brought him on to work for me. But even with both of them working full-time, they still can’t find childcare they can count on for their one-year-old. They’re exhausted, they’re doing everything right, and it’s still not enough. They want a better future for themselves and for their son. That’s who I’m fighting for.

Concord isn’t fighting for them. I will. That’s why I’m running.”

My wife Susann and I live in an 1800s cape next to the New Hampshire Farm Museum – together with one cat and an elderly Kubota tractor for rock wall repair. My entire life has been carried forward by the strength and sacrifices of women, and it is that experience that informs my service to the community.

  • Funding for Public Education: Paying for education through property taxes is hardest on the middle class; capital sin taxes (alcohol, tobacco, etc.) are trivial band-aids, and a sales tax would be regressive and destructive for people who work. New Hampshire needs to fund public education from general revenue. In my opinion, New Hampshire needs to bring back the investment/dividend tax to help fund education
  • Affordable Housing: The ”terror“ of affordable housing is that it will bring in ”those people.“ The truth is, we ARE those people. Nurses, teachers, town workers, police, firefighters, restaurant workers – all the people we depend on. Without these people, we have no community. Accessory Dwelling Units are a good start. Mobile park community ownership should be funded and supported.
  • Women’s Rights: Women have the right to choose or end their pregnancy.

Will is running for the NH House because he believes government should solve problems, not manufacture them. His approach is progressive, practical, and grounded in evidence: strengthen public schools, protect individual freedoms, improve housing and health care affordability, protect New Hampshire’s natural resources, and build a fairer, more sustainable tax system. He believes legislators should listen to their communities and make transparent decisions based on what will improve people’s lives. Will wants to bring a thoughtful, equitable approach to Concord and make sure Rochester has a strong voice in deciding the future of our state.

  • Strengthen and fairly fund public education, increasing the state’s responsibility for education costs and reducing the burden placed on local property taxpayers.
  • Make New Hampshire’s tax system fairer and more sustainable, while opposing a broad-based income or sales tax and ending policies that simply shift state costs onto cities and towns.
  • Expand access to affordable housing and lower household costs, supporting responsible housing development, sensible zoning reform, and policies that address New Hampshire’s high energy costs.
  • Protect individual rights and personal freedom, including reproductive freedom, equal treatment under the law, privacy, and the rights of law-abiding Granite Staters to own firearms responsibly.
  • Improve access to affordable health care and essential services, particularly for working families, seniors, people with disabilities, and residents living on fixed incomes.

  • To reverse the trend of the working class losing a fair chance to advance and retain control over their lives. He was born in 1947 and has seen the working class lose ground over his lifetime.
  • He wants all people to have the same opportunity to get an education and achieve their life goals.
  • He strongly supports excellent public education. He is serving because the public education he received allowed him to advance from an unskilled blue-collar working family to reach his goal of becoming a professional scientist.
  • Higher education should be affordable and available to all who merit it.
  • He supports improving the conditions of residents by supporting industrial growth that shifts the tax burden off of homeowners while creating better-paying jobs. High-value technical industries look for communities that have a well-educated workforce

NH State Representative — Strafford District 8

Rochester Ward 4

My name is Ty Wyman, and I am running for State Representative out of Ward 4 in my hometown of Rochester because I believe that the town I grew up in can better serve the people who call it home. I am a dual major in justice studies and political science at the University of New Hampshire. I am inspired to run for office partly due to the campus carry bill. Bills like this show, time and time again that House and Senate Republicans have bills that are so wholly out of touch with young people.

I was raised by a truck driver and a teacher’s aide right here in New Hampshire. I know what it means to live paycheck to paycheck. Today, my wife and I are raising our three kids in Rochester, facing the same brutal daycare tuition and rising health insurance premiums as our neighbors. Our oldest attends public school, and our youngest will too.

Our oldest attends public school, and our youngest will too.

I wasn’t planning on running for office, but what we have isn’t working. With over a decade of policy experience, I know how to take on tough fights—from working to defeat the Northern Pass Project to advocating for anti-poverty measures nationally and common-sense energy solutions here at home.

Concord isn’t going to fix itself. I’m running to make sure somebody finally puts working families first. I care about results, not political grandstanding. While many in Concord have been busy with divisive political battles and handing out tax breaks to big corporations, our elected leaders should be focused on what truly matters: making everyday life more affordable for working families. With a decade of experience bridging politics, policy, and community action, I’m ready to cut through the noise and deliver real, practical solutions that put more money back in the pockets of Rochester residents.

Cinde Warmington

Governor of New Hampshire

As Governor, Cinde will repeal Kelly Ayotte’s private school vouchers scheme that’s hurting public schools and driving up property taxes. She’ll stand up to Trump when he jacks up health care costs and tariffs. And she’ll say no to ICE’s human warehouse in Merrimack or anywhere else. Cinde will work for our small businesses. And make sure we don’t have a sales or income tax.

For more than 15 years, I have been a fierce fighter for medical research and innovation to help people like my daughter, Elle, and millions like her who are battling chronic, life-threatening diseases. So, when I see Donald Trump crushing medical research, and Republicans in Congress slashing Medicaid, and health care for kids, seniors, and veterans – all to give big tax breaks to billionaires and corporations — I know it’s not enough to just get mad. That’s why I’m running for Congress.

No one fights harder than a mom for her kids. And that’s how I’ll fight for your family, too. And I’ve got a record of never giving up. I started a company to help people with diabetes and other chronic diseases make safe food choices, creating dozens of jobs and helping hundreds of thousands of people. I wrote a book about my family’s journey that became a bestseller. Now, I’m a leader in a groundbreaking initiative in Manchester, advancing pioneering cures for chronic diseases.

If you’re as outraged as I am about what Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress are doing, I hope you’ll get in this fight with me. In New Hampshire, we stand up for each other.
